Altium has successfully completed the inaugural Mayan-on-Chip cohort, a regional initiative aimed at cultivating specialized semiconductor and electronics design talent in Yucatán, Mexico. This program, developed in partnership with the Autonomous University of Yucatán and local government entities, trained students in critical areas such as Verilog HDL, VLSI design, and PCB design using Altium’s software solutions. Out of 150 applicants, 90 students were accepted, with 72 earning certifications, reflecting a robust interest in semiconductor education.
